Hole in one alert!

By his own admission, Stephen Jamieson wasn’t having the best of rounds on Wednesday, but his day got a lot better when he holed his pitching wedge tee shot at the 16th for his first competitive ace. Just goes to show it’s worthwhile keeping going even when things aren’t going to plan!  

Supporting our NHS

There’s not much golf related news and we can only wait for developments. What we can do is support the NHS and other key workers. Like many other Clubs, we’re showing our backing by flying a flag on the 16th – it’ll stay there for at least the rest of this season.

Uphall Golf Club’s Ladies break £10,000 barrier supporting Breast Cancer Now!

The Uphall  Golf Club Ladies Open Pink Day Greensomes is a charity event held every year in October to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.  Unfortunately, due to horrendous weather conditions in 2019, the competition had to be cancelled.  Despite this, the Ladies still raised a staggering £1,315 from entry fees, the sale of golf …
