Like buses, Holes in one and albatrosses are rare, but all of a sudden they all come at once.
We’ve had 3 reported in recent times, kicking off with Thomas Jeans holing out his second shot at the 11th with a fairway metal from 204 yards. Here’s Thomas all smiles with his playing partners.
Next up was Richard Sneddon with a hole in one at the 16th. When asked what club he’d used, Richard was very specific “my Ping G wedge” – Presumably some sponsorship deal in the offing. One things for sure, if they ask Richard to let people know, they’ll hear okay!
And last, but not least, Alan Fleming with a hole in one at the 15th with a 6-iron on the fly (he say’s it was into the breeze!) on Easter Monday. Alan has only come back to golf after a 26 year break so he’s chuffed with this milestone. Alan was playing on his own, but luckily 4 members had stepped back at the 2nd to let him play down, otherwise he might have been victim to an “aye right Alan!” when he was recounting his shot.

Congratulations guys on your hole outs!!!!
