Captain’s Charity Competition – Sunday 27 September -entries now open in Pro Shop

The annual Captain’s Charity competition will take place on Sunday 27th September with the beneficiary this year being Alzheimer’s Scotland – all funds raised will be invested locally.

This year’s event will be a fourball, better ball, stroke play format with a shotgun start at 8.30. Entry is £10 per two man team, with 50% being paid out in prizes and 50% going to the Charity.

Strokes received will be based on 3/4 handicap difference calculated from a maximum handicap of 22.

To add a bit of spice to the day, the winning pair will represent the Club at one of the regional finals of next year’s Belhaven Best Fourball Competition, with the chance to win a place in the Grand Final, all expenses paid. Details aren’t available yet, but this year’s Grand Final was held in Turkey and we can only assume it will be similar next year.

Entries are now open in the Pro Shop, so look in or call to get your space booked and help a great cause at the same time.[lightbox link=”https://www.uphallgolfclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/image3.jpg” thumb=”https://www.uphallgolfclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/image3.jpg” width=”1609″ align=”none” title=”image” frame=”true” icon=”image”]
