Junior Coaching
The school holidays started last week and that saw the Junior Foundation coaching sessions kick-off. Typical Scottish summer on Tuesday saw the coaching held inside with Chipping / Pitching on the agenda.
Since then, we’ve seen much improved weather and the youngsters have been able to get outside on a small mini course on the 17th fairway. Coaching runs right through the summer holidays and we look forward to see the pupils making great strides in the weeks ahead.
A start has also been made on some Rules and Etiquette tuition and hopefully that’ll see some well educated young players coming through.
The kids have been set homework to do in between sessions, so don’t be surprised to see some eager practicing around the putting green and chipping area.
