8th - Elbow

Image
Derivation
A dog leg hole.
Description
As the name suggests this hole is a tree lined dog leg left to right normally into a west prevailing wind. A well placed tee shot to the left half of the fairway is a must to avoid the trees and leave a medium iron to back to front sloping green. A tee shot on the right side of the fairway leaves a daunting second over a big tree.
